CSCS Manager card requirements can accept relevant Construction Management or Technical NVQs or SVQs at Level 4, 5, 6 or 7. For the Level 6 Construction Site Management qualification, CSCS lists these occupations and pathways:
Applicants must also meet the current CSCS requirements, including the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment test. Completing the NVQ does not automatically award a card.

No. The NVQ is work-based, so you are assessed on the work you already carry out rather than attending classroom study.

CSCS lists this qualification for several site manager occupations: for example, the Building and Civil Engineering pathway for Building Site Manager and Civil Engineering Site Manager. You must also meet the current CSCS requirements, including the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment test. The card is not awarded automatically.
